How to Use Solvify: A Quick Start for Parents and Kids
Start with the right account type, set a routine, and use regular practice sessions to build momentum.
Getting started with Solvify takes less than five minutes, but using it effectively requires a little planning. This guide walks through the setup process and shares practical tips for making the most of the platform as a family.
The first step is creating a parent account. Visit the sign-up page, enter your email and a password, and verify your email through the confirmation link sent to your inbox. Once verified, you can log in and access the parent dashboard. This is your central hub for managing everything: kids, store items, activity logs, difficulty settings, and purchase requests.
After logging in, the next step is adding your kids. Navigate to the Manage Kids section and create a profile for each child. You will set a name, birthdate, username, and password for each kid. The username and password are what your child will use to log in on their own. Keep these simple enough for your child to remember but unique enough to be secure.
Before your child starts practicing, take a moment to configure the difficulty settings. In the Config section, you can enable or disable easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels. You can also set how many coins each difficulty awards for correct answers and whether incorrect answers deduct coins. Start with settings that match your child's current ability. You can always adjust later as they improve.
The store is another feature worth setting up early. In the Store Items section, create rewards that your child can work toward. These could be anything your family decides: extra screen time, a favorite snack, a small toy, or a special activity. Set a coin cost for each item that reflects the effort required. The store gives your child a tangible reason to keep practicing.
Now your child can log in. From the homepage, they select Kid Sign In and enter their username and password. The kid dashboard has two main sections: Solve Math and Reward Store. In Solve Math, they choose a difficulty level and start answering problems. Each correct answer earns coins. Each session builds their confidence and their coin balance.
The Reward Store lets kids browse the items you have created and request purchases using their earned coins. When a child requests an item, you receive a notification in the Purchases section of your parent dashboard. You can approve or decline the request. This creates a natural conversation about effort, value, and delayed gratification.
The Activity section of the parent dashboard shows a detailed log of every problem your child has attempted. You can see the question, the answer given, whether it was correct, the difficulty level, and the date. This information helps you understand where your child is strong, where they struggle, and how consistently they are practicing.
For best results, establish a daily routine. Pick a time that works for your family, whether it is right after school, before dinner, or after homework. Keep sessions to 15 to 30 minutes. Encourage your child to attempt a mix of difficulties. Celebrate streaks and milestones together.
Consistency beats intensity. A child who practices 20 minutes a day, five days a week, will outperform a child who crams for two hours on Sunday. Solvify is designed to make that daily habit as easy as possible, with a fast login, clear interface, and immediate rewards that keep kids coming back.
If you have multiple children, each one gets their own profile with independent progress tracking, coin balance, and purchase history. You manage all of them from one parent dashboard. This makes it simple to support siblings at different grade levels and skill levels without any extra complexity.
